Yoga 9am Friday Mornings

Yes we are a classical pilates studio, but every once in a while we like to change things up a bit, even Joseph Pilates himself was known to practice yoga!

Yoga can be a great complement to Pilates work, and we are now offering Iyengar Yoga upstairs at our Marin Studio location Friday Mornings from 9am-10:30am. An hour and a half of yoga for just $22 drop in, or prepay for a package of 10 at $190.

Annie Joseph, has been practicing and studying Yoga for 30 plus years and has been strongly influenced by Iyengar Yoga which emphasizes structural alignment (good connection with Pilates!) She has been teaching Yoga since 1992 and is also a Certified Pilates instructor and currently in The Pilates Center Masters Program.

Please call or email if you are interested in the Yoga class, or come on in to sign up ahead of time. You will need to bring in your own Yoga Mat.

Ever wonder what that simple looking box with a spring loaded paddle is doing here in the studio? Hearing us call it a “chair”, and you think “Well how nice of Joe Pilates to design a place to rest in between all this mat and reformer work.”

Here is your chance, to find out what it can really do from the VERY beginning. Fernanda is going to be teaching a 4 Class Intro to Chair Series. Wednesdays March 3rd – 24th.
